Here's how it works:

You must prepare your own photos for scanning. It's important to follow these guidelines carefully, as our special low prices are based on them. Otherwise additional charges must apply.

• All photographs for this service must be removed from albums.

• This service is only available from prints. Negatives and slides are not included in this service.

• Photos may not be stored individually in envelopes. Only loose photos can be included with the order.

• Photos in albums or individual envelopes will not be processed.

• Prints with staples, tears, tape, mounted on heavy backing, or Polaroid prints are not eligible for this service.

• Prints may be from 2" x 3" to as large as 8.5" x 11".

• Photos must be prepared in specific order from the smallest size to the largest size and will be scanned in order of size. Orders requiring scanning in specified print order require additional service fees.

• Photos are all to be placed together horizontally in a box (or in sequentially marked envelopes holding at least 50 photos per envelope).

• All vertical (portrait layout) photos must be positioned with the heads in the same direction. Horizontal (landscape layout) photos must also be placed so that all are oriented in the same direction (heads up). Photos placed upside down will be scanned and displayed upside down.

Digity Pix scanning is designed to archive your photos digitally and our standard service (400 DPI) will allow you to get print enlargements of at least 5" x 7". Since monitor viewing is much less exacting than prints, you will be able to watch your photos on as large a monitor as you like.
